Daren King has been an economist within National Bank’s Economics and Strategy group since December 2020. In particular, he monitors the economic situation in the Canadian provinces, the real estate market and issues affecting the financial health of households.

Prior to joining the Economics and Strategy group, Daren worked as a senior advisor for personal financing solutions at National Bank. Among other mandates, he was responsible for monitoring the economic situation and its impact on business strategy. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in economics from Quebec City’s Université Laval, as well as the CFA designation.
