David Tremblay joined Intact in 2002, was appointed Deputy Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer in December 2014 and Senior Vice-President and Group Chief Investment Officer in June 2021. He leads the investment strategy for Intact Financial Corporation and oversees the Fixed income, Equity and the Asset allocation teams. This includes assets of Intact’s insurance operations, pension plans and third-party mandates.
He earned his M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Sherbrooke and is CFA charterholder. Mr. Tremblay serves as a board member of La Fondation de l’Université de Sherbrooke and is president of its investment committee.
