How to file a complaint

To help us understand your situation, please include the following information, if applicable, with your complaint:
- Your name and contact information• The category of clients you represent, such as institutional clients, pension funds, portfolio managers, investors or retail clients, etc.
- A brief description of the situation (with important dates)
- The resolution you’re looking for; and
- Any document or information that is useful for understanding your complaint.You can also file a complaint by completing the form available on the Autorité des marchés financiers website.
Next steps:
- Within 5 business days of receiving your complaint, an acknowledgement letter will be sent to you indicating the name and contact information of the person responsible for handling your complaint.
- This person will contact you to discuss your complaint.
- Within a maximum 60 days following the receipt of your complaint, a final response will be sent to you explaining the results of the analysis and our conclusion. If, however, additional time is required to process your complaint, you will be informed in writing; and
- If you are offered a settlement, you will be given time to assess it and provide us with your response.
