Jay serves as Head of Real Assets for Nuveen, overseeing strategy, investment process, and performance of the firm’s listed real assets and real estate platform. He is also the creator and a portfolio manager of Nuveen’s public global infrastructure, real asset income, and real estate securities strategies.
Prior to joining Nuveen in 2005, he served as a real estate portfolio manager for Advantus Capital Management, and a real estate fixed income analyst at Sit Investment Advisors.
Jay graduated with a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and holds a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Public Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
